Welcome to Gramo. By downloading, installing, or using the Gramo application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Description of service

Gramo is a protein intake tracking application that helps users monitor their daily protein consumption. The App provides personalized protein targets based on user-provided body metrics and offers AI-powered food recognition to estimate protein content from meal photos.

2. Health disclaimer

Gramo is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. All protein targets, nutritional estimates, and tips are for informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making significant changes to your diet.

AI food recognition provides approximate estimates. Actual nutritional content may vary based on preparation methods, portion sizes, specific ingredients, and other factors.

3. User data

Gramo does not require user account registration. All personal data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and your data.

4. Subscriptions & payments

Gramo offers a free tier and a premium subscription ("Gramo Pro").

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
No refunds for unused portions of a subscription period, per Apple's refund policies.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Exploit the AI recognition feature in an automated or excessive manner
Interfere with or disrupt the App's services or servers
Use the App to provide professional dietary or medical services to others

6. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, and features of Gramo are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gramo and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Inaccurate nutritional estimates from AI recognition
Health consequences resulting from dietary decisions based on the App's information
Loss of data due to device failure or App deletion
Service interruptions or API unavailability

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that AI food recognition will be accurate, complete, or available at all times.

9. Changes to terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
